White Dinner in Harburg City Park: A Stylish Outdoor Picnic Gathering
Mark your calendars for the 11th White Dinner in Harburg City Park, taking place on August 30, 2025, at the Außenmühle in Harburg, Hamburg. The event, organized by Harburg Marketing with support from the Harburg Railway Construction Association, will run from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM (CEST).
This unique, white-themed dinner/picnic is a chance for participants to dress up in all white and enjoy a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic items, including filled picnic baskets, tables with white tablecloths, chairs or white picnic blankets, cutlery, and dishes. However, disposable cutlery and dishes should be avoided.
The evening program for the White Dinner includes live music, sparklers, soap bubbles, white ladies on stilts, a live sketch artist, and a special light show. For those looking to cool off, an ice cream truck will be on site, offering free ice cream as part of the "Harburg treats" project.
Creativity is still encouraged for candle holders, flowers, or white decorations. To help maintain the cleanliness of the park, Harburg Marketing will provide free trash bags and pocket ashtrays to participants. Public toilets will also be available at the event.

Note that the White Dinner is distinct from the "Summer in the Park" event that takes place earlier in July and involves other concerts and gatherings in Harburg City Park.
