Vibrant Event Held at the Gardenshow According to Buntes' Programming
The local gardening clubs and regional advisory service of the Upper Palatinate are hosting a garden show in Furth im Wald from August 17 to 24. The event, which is part of the Bavarian State Garden Show, promises a week filled with educational workshops, exhibitions, and activities for both children and adults.
During the garden show, the regional advisors of the Upper Palatinate will present the annual training course for "Certified Fruit Tree Pruners." This training is scheduled for August 21, giving aspiring pruners the opportunity to learn from the experts. On the same day, visitors can also explore an exhibition of various fruit tree varieties.
For those interested in learning more about orchard fruits, the regional advisors will offer a workshop on "Orchard Fruits" on August 17, and a presentation on "Garden Design with Orchard Fruits" is scheduled for August 19. The specific date for the craft activities offered by the OGV Schorndorf, focusing on painting stones and designing buttons, is August 24.
The garden show will also feature a marketplace selling gardening tools and accessories on August 17 and 24. On August 23, attendees can join a guided tour of the gardens by local gardening clubs. For those looking to learn about organic pest control, a local gardening expert will give a talk on the topic on August 18.
In addition to these activities, the event will showcase ecologically upgraded riverside areas for walking and relaxation, themed landscaping with dragon motifs as part of the local heritage, and green corridors and natural recreational areas enhancing city-nature interaction.
The local gardening clubs are looking forward to welcoming many visitors to the garden show. For precise daily programming and information on these topics, we recommend checking the official Bavarian State Garden Show website or contacting the Furth im Wald event organizers directly.
