New VLF Scooters Take India by Storm

VLF, a renowned scooter manufacturer, has unveiled a series of exciting updates to its lineup. The most anticipated additions are the extended range VLF Tennis 1500 and the upcoming petrol-powered VLF Mobster, set to launch during the festive season.

The VLF Tennis 1500, designed by Italian automotive designer Alessandro Tartarini, now boasts a mobile charging port and a range of 150 km per charge, a 20 km improvement over its predecessor. This extended range makes it more practical for daily commutes, allowing riders to go further with fewer charging stops.

The scooter is equipped with 12-inch wheels, telescopic front forks, and a rear mono-shock suspension system with a progressive cantilever layout. It also features three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, ensuring a smooth ride no matter the conditions. Braking is handled by disc brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System), and the scooter comes with full LED lighting, including the headlamp, tail lamp, and turn indicators.

The VLF Tennis 1500 offers an 18-litre under-seat storage compartment and is available in the existing colours of Fire Fury Dark Red and Snowflake White, as well as two new colours: Slate Blue and Ebony Black.

Meanwhile, VLF is preparing to expand its portfolio with the launch of the VLF Mobster. This bold petrol-powered scooter will be available in two variants: the 125cc and 180cc models.

The VLF Mobster 125 features a 125cc engine, delivering 12.1 PS at 8250 rpm and a top speed of 100 kmph. Its fuel tank capacity is 8 liters, and it weighs 122 kg. The scooter comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, tubeless tyres, and is available in Grey and Fire Fury Dark Red. The estimated price for the VLF Mobster 125 is ₹1.40 lakh, and it is set to launch in August 2025.

The VLF Mobster 180, on the other hand, boasts a 180cc engine, delivering 17.9 PS at 8250 rpm and a top speed of 110 kmph. Its specifications are identical to those of the 125cc model, except for the engine size and the estimated price, which is ₹1.70 lakh.

Both models share similar dimensions, with a length of 1,873 mm, a width of 746 mm, a height of 1,120 mm, a seat height of 797 mm, and a wheelbase of 1,341 mm.

The VLF Mobster is built on a high-tensile tubular steel frame and features a 5-inch full-color TFT display, keyless start, and a side-stand motor cut-off sensor. It also comes with an advanced LMFP battery with an aluminum casing, improving heat resistance and overall battery safety.

The VLF Mobster has gained popularity among Gen Z and city commuters, making it an exciting addition to VLF's lineup. With its powerful engines, stylish design, and practical features, the VLF Mobster is sure to make a lasting impression on the Indian scooter market.
