Prepare for an exciting night as Dortmund Police Headquarters gears up to host the 25th DEW21 Museum Night on September 20, 2025. This free event promises a diverse program catering to all ages, offering a unique insight into the world of law enforcement.

Admission to the Museum Night is complimentary, and visitors can explore various exhibits, demonstrations, and interactive experiences throughout the evening. Guided tours, limited to 15 people per group, will be available every hour, providing glimpses into the police detention cells and offering insights into police work.

For the thrill-seekers, there's an opportunity to try your hand at shooting with an air pistol, with minors aged 14 and above welcome with the consent of a legal guardian. The police sports club will also offer this experience.

The police exhibition 110 is the highlight of the Museum Night, showcasing old and current police vehicles, including a vintage VW T3, at the main entrance. Visitors can also enjoy three performances of the traffic puppet stage, featuring the show "Moses Becomes a Police Dog."

If you're interested in a career in the police, the personnel department team will be on hand to answer your questions. Crime prevention experts will also be available at the Criminal Police Advisory Office to discuss home security, cybercrime, and fraud.

For a more immersive experience, visitors can use their own headphones with a 3.5mm jack for the audio guide in the police exhibition 110. A goggles course under the influence of alcohol and drugs (1.1 or 0.5% BAC) is also available.

Police dog handlers' four-legged colleagues will demonstrate their skills at three shows (4, 5, and 6 pm). Visitors can even secure their own fingerprints with trace evidence experts at the Museum Night.

Please note that the entire program is subject to the current operational situation. In case of major incidents, participation may be cancelled.
