Transport Safety on the Roadways: Expanded Dates for Youth Driving Education Programs
The city of Gießen is offering a traffic training event for children aged 6 to 11, aimed at improving their understanding of road safety. This event, which has been available since April this year, takes place from 10:00 to 13:00 and is open to families.
The training will be held in the Weststadt, specifically at Krofdorfer Straße 109 a, 35398 Gießen. Parents or a person of full age must assume supervision responsibility during the event. Participants are required to bring a traffic-appropriate bicycle and helmet for the training.
The training is designed to provide experience in road traffic in a protected space. It is not limited to school hours, making it accessible for parents who work during the day. The professional personnel accompanying the training are from Gießen@Schule gGmbH.
Parents are invited to three more dates for their children to test driving on the road. These dates are on August 30, September 13, and September 27. However, the specific names of the responsible persons from Gießen@Schule gGmbH involved in these three remaining 2025 dates for the youth traffic school on site could not be found in the available search results.
The traffic training is part of the city's commitment to ensuring the safety of its younger residents. By teaching children about road safety at an early age, the city hopes to foster a culture of safe driving habits that will last a lifetime. So, if you have a child between the ages of 6 and 11, consider enrolling them in this valuable programme.
