On a sunny afternoon in Stuttgart, the city's Dorotheenquartier was alive with the vibrant energy of the 22nd edition of the "Sterne des Südens" street festival.

Benedikt and Katrin, along with their two-year-old child, returned to their old neighbourhood to join in the festivities. Nearby, the Dorotheenquartier was bustling around the Balci family's table, as many visitors gathered to enjoy the atmosphere.

The Markthalle was actively involved in the organisation of the Quartiersfest, while Café List and a 35-year-old speech therapy practice celebrated their own milestones this year. Across the street, DJane Alegra Cole provided music to entertain the crowds.

At the Schlossplatz, Stuttgart couple Verena and Kilian were searching for a spot in the green to enjoy the warm weather. Meanwhile, a group of participants in a German language course found a comfortable spot near Verena and Kilian, enjoying the day's festivities.

Owner Jürgen Frank of Bäckerei Frank read an appropriate story from "It's Knocking at Wanja's Door" in honour of World Children's Day, while children decorated cookies with three animal shapes at the same venue.

Elsewhere in the city, Daniel Seiler could be found at the Palast der Republik, a popular meeting point. Werner Reinis, vice-chief of the same establishment, expected more guests in the evening.

As the day progressed, Sukhbat, a 25-year-old from Tübingen, appreciated the current weather, knowing it would be the last time they would experience it this year. Baris, an 18-year-old, enjoyed the weather not just because it was sunny, but because he was with his friends.

Visitor Umit Balci believed that after this day, they would have to say goodbye to these temperatures. As the folk festival countdown continued, many people were visiting various spots in Stuttgart on this Saturday. The temperature in Stuttgart's city center reached a high of 31 degrees in the afternoon.

The Quartiersfest in Stuttgart's Dorotheenquartier was organised by the Dorotheen Quartier Initiative, promising a day filled with fun, food, and music for all.
