Structure lost: Family is forced to close down cherished courtyard store in Karlsruhe
The Bothen family's farm shop in Karlsruhe is set to reopen its doors in October, located at Parzivalstraße 2b. This revitalised establishment aims to preserve the Hagsfeld tradition while also serving as a vibrant neighbourhood meeting place and a hub for youth training.
Upon its reopening, the farm shop will offer a wide array of regional specialties, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and products from nearby businesses. Fresh eggs, homemade noodles, and meat and sausage products from Scottish highland cattle will be among the items available.
In addition to its role as a farm shop, the Bothen farm will also function as a learning place. The farm's reopening creates new opportunities for the region and an entire generation, providing a unique setting for hands-on education and skill development.
The farm will continue to house its beloved cats, ensuring that the furry residents remain an integral part of the farm's welcoming atmosphere. The reopening of the farm shop signifies a hopeful new beginning in the middle of the district, offering a fresh start for the Bothen family and the community they serve.
Despite our best efforts, no information was found regarding why the Bothen family closed their farm shop previously or what happened to it. However, with the farm shop's upcoming reopening, it's clear that the Bothen family remains committed to their farm and the community they have served for years.
