Spring Cleaning: What to Toss and Keep

Spring cleaning season is here, and it's time to declutter. But what should you toss and what should you keep? Here's a guide to help you decide.

Start with expired coupons and receipts. If they're not needed for tax purposes or warranties, they can be recycled or thrown out. The same goes for old cords and chargers that don't connect to your current cars. They're just taking up space.

Beauty and skincare products with expiry dates should be used up or disposed of properly. Half-used stationery that has dried up can also be discarded. Single socks without a matching pair can be thrown out, as they're unlikely to find their other half.

Empty boxes that serve no purpose can be tossed out to save space. Duplicate kitchen items that are not being used can be recycled or donated to someone who might need them.

Remember, one person's trash is another person's treasure. If you're unsure about an item, ask yourself when you last used it and if you're likely to use it again. If the answer is 'never' or 'not likely', it might be time to let it go. Happy decluttering!
