The small town of Moers, Germany, is set to host an exciting art exhibition at Peschkenhaus. The event, titled "Moers Art," will showcase around 50 original pieces, curated by Thomas Kreuzer, and will run until October 26.

Thomas Kreuzer, a renowned art collector, has handpicked works from his collection for this exhibition. Visitors can expect contemporary pieces by renowned artists such as Klaus Dennhardt, Oda Jaune, William Kentridge, Julian Opie, A.R. Penck, Werner Reuber, Hans Scheib, Andreas Schön, Eugen Schönbeck, and Norbert Thiel.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is Jörg Immendorff's silkscreen print "The Runner." This piece, created by Thomas Kreuzer in his Eifel workshop, is priced under 10,000 euros, despite being valued at 12,000 euros in the art market.

In addition to the exhibition, Thomas Kreuzer will be available for interested buyers on Monday, September 22, at 6 PM. RSVP is required at [email protected]. On October 7 at 6 PM, Kreuzer will also share stories behind the art in a collector's talk.

Helmut Berns, the chairman of Kunstverein Peschkenhaus, expressed his excitement about the event, stating, "We are thrilled to have Thomas Kreuzer's collection at Peschkenhaus. The exhibition promises to be a fascinating journey through contemporary art."

The Kollektortag by Thomas Kreuzer, where he will discuss the artworks behind Jörg Immendorff's silkscreen print "The Runner," takes place on Saturday, September 21, 2019.

The exhibition is sponsored by Sparkasse Niederrhein. Opening hours for the exhibition are Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 3 to 6 PM, Thursdays from 6 to 8 PM, or by appointment.
