Red Beet Community Garden in Bremen Reopens April 1st
The 'Red Beet' community garden in Bremen, a project of Martinsclub Bremen e.V., is set to reopen at the beginning of April. The garden, initiated to promote local climate and environmental protection, welcomes everyone interested in communal gardening.
On April 1st, the garden will host its season opening with fresh waffles for refreshment. The event will also see the construction of new raised beds between 4 and 6 pm. After the kick-off, the 'Garden Group' will meet every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm to garden together. The garden is located in the Huckelrieder Vonovia settlement, opposite the barracks entrance at Niedersachsendamm 46-48, 28201 Bremen. The project is supported by the 'Climate Protection in Daily Life' funding program of the Senator for Environment, Climate, and Science of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. Unfortunately, specific information about the organization that initiated the garden and provides services for people with disabilities is not available.
The 'Red Beet' garden offers a space for people to plant fruit and vegetables, spend time together in nature, and contribute to local climate and environmental protection. Interested individuals are welcome to join the 'Garden Group' and participate in this communal effort.
