In the district of Kleve, Germany, the annual cycling campaign "Stadtradeln 2025" has commenced. On May 26, Mayor Ferdi Böhmer received the baton from Brigitte Jansen, the Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency, to signify the start of this 21-day initiative. During a sunny afternoon in Kranenburg, the baton passed ceremoniously, with Mayor Böhmer expressing his pleasure at participating again this year.

The gift-laden baton will continue its journey to the next destination in Kranenburg before moving forward. The prize, intended for the most accomplished cyclists in the district, underscores the motivational aspect of the campaign. Brigitte Jansen, the Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency, commented that the event demonstrates the seamless integration of climate protection and daily mobility. Jansen pointed out that the initiative continuously attracts the support of locals in the district of Kleve.

"Stadtradeln 2025" aims to encourage residents to forego their cars and utilize bicycles instead, reflecting a broader effort encompassing all 16 municipalities within the Kreis Kleve.
