🌴 Get ready for the Palm Tree Bash at Freiburg-St. Georgen's Beach Club on June 29, 2025! This colorful affair, also known as the Palm Tree Festival, kicks off at 9:30 AM and wraps up at 6:00 PM.
🏖️ Located at Basler Landstraße 15, the event promises a day packed with beach sports, socializing, and a healthy dose of political dialogue. You'll find all sorts of sportsy demonstrations and opportunities to join in the fun. In the afternoon, it's time to shift gears and engage in some political discussion with a guided tour explaining the club's unique concept. The day winds down with some speeches and discussions between the club and city officials, aiming to chart the future of the Beach Club together.
🗓️ Events like these wouldn't be complete without special guests. Mayor Martin Horn and representatives from the city's sports committee will be on hand for a VIP reception starting at 1:00 PM.

🏐 The Beach Club is Freiburg's only beach sports club and currently has over 1,000 members, ten self-built beach courts, and a lease set to expire in 2027. With optimism in their sails, the club hopes to secure its place as Freiburg's largest beach sports facility long term.
