Online Marketplace Launch for Sachsenlotto: Order Rubble Hassle-free
Sachsenlotto Launches Online Scratch Card Shop in Saxony
Sachsenlotto, the state lottery of Saxony, has introduced a new online shop for scratch card sales, making it easier than ever for residents of Saxony to participate in lotteries. The shop, accessible at www.sachsenlose.de, offers a range of scratch cards that can be ordered with a simple mouse click and delivered by post.
The initial offer includes three card series: Glücksrakete, SACHSEN MILLION, and the scratch calendar. Orders placed by 19 December can be expected to arrive before Christmas, and after payment is received, customers can expect their orders to arrive within two to five working days.
Shipping is free of charge from an order value of 35 euros. However, the shop's success and potential expansion after the test phase, which is currently underway in December, remain to be seen. The managing director of Sachsenlotto plans to offer the online shop permanently after the test phase to make the path to luck easier for people in Saxony.
Security and player and youth protection are of utmost importance in the online shop. An automatic identity check, user account creation, and data usage limited to the ordering and payment process ensure a secure and safe experience for all customers.
The online shop is exclusive to players from Saxony, and shipping to other federal states is not possible. This is part of a series of seasonal lotteries exclusive to Saxony, which also includes Apple prize scratch cards introduced in September.
In addition to the online scratch card shop, Sachsenlotto introduced the SACHSENLOTTO-Cup in 2025, a horse racing event held on the Galopprennbahn Dresden-Seidnitz featuring young thoroughbred horses. This event is part of a larger summer program that includes multiple races, with sponsorship from Sachsenlotto supporting related activities such as children's entertainment with a new sponsored Hüpfburg (bounce house) and games during race days.
Sachsenlotto entered a collaboration with Fraunhofer IMW in the beginning of 2023 to research the economic impacts of the lottery offer for the federal state of Saxony. The runtime of the SACHSENLOTTO-Cup event and sponsorship of race-related festivities is a notable ongoing initiative showcasing engagement beyond traditional lottery products.
However, it's worth noting that the online shop does not offer online gambling, and the cards will not be redeemed online. Customers will need to physically scratch their cards to reveal the prizes.
The launch of the online shop marks a significant step forward for Sachsenlotto, providing a convenient and secure way for residents of Saxony to participate in lotteries, particularly in rural areas where access to physical lottery outlets may be limited. The success of the test phase and the future of the online shop will be evaluated in detail after December.
