Nrthrn Strong Brings Innovative Cross-Country Ski-Inspired Workouts to Manhattan

Nordic Strong, the innovative workout modality inspired by cross-country skiing, is set to open its first permanent U.S. studio in Manhattan's Flatiron District. Founder and CEO Nicoline Roth is thrilled to bring this unique training method to American shores, having always aspired to do so.

The 3,000-square-foot studio, opening in a prime location, will evoke the Danish concept of 'hygge', mirroring the atmosphere of the studios in Copenhagen. The space will feature an updated version of the patented machines and interactive tablets for tracking performance, ensuring a seamless and engaging workout experience.

The studio will offer three class formats: Signature Strong, Sculpt, and Cardio. The workout is high-intensity yet low-impact, making it suitable for all fitness levels. Roth describes it as a dynamic, year-round workout that builds strength, endurance, and mobility. The grand opening follows a successful run in the Hamptons over the summer, where a pop-up event was met with enthusiasm and sold-out classes.

Nordic Strong, formerly known as Planet Fitness, is poised to make a splash in the U.S. fitness scene. With its unique workout modality, inviting atmosphere, and commitment to inclusivity, the studio promises an exciting addition to Manhattan's fitness landscape. Roth's vision and passion for bringing this innovative concept to the U.S. are set to inspire many to embrace a new kind of workout.
