Neighborhood Organization Campaign Announced for October 9th
The district authority and municipality of Hohenthann have announced an upcoming information event titled "Because We Are Neighbors", scheduled for October 9th, 2025. The event will take place in the parish hall St. Laurentius in Hohenthann from 14:00 to 16:30.
The event is aimed at individuals who want to establish an organized neighborhood help but are unsure about the process. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from members of neighborhood helps in Binatal, Ergolding, Furth, Geisenhausen, Neufahrn, and Velden, who will share their experiences during an informative exchange.
Elisabeth Strasser, Senior Citizens' Representative of Landshut District, is in charge of registrations. Interested individuals can register by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling 0871 4082116. Registration is required by September 29th, 2025.
Doris Rudolf from the "Living in Old Age" coordination office will give a presentation on the basic tasks and organization of a neighborhood help. Additionally, Ulrike Huettl from the Senior Citizens' Council Rottenburg and Stephanie Moeller from the neighborhood help ANNA Altdorf will provide insights into two successful practical examples of organized neighborhood helps.
Furthermore, Doris Rudolf will also present the possibility of state funding for such a project. The flyer for the event "Because we are neighbors" is available.
We encourage anyone interested in learning more about establishing a neighborhood help to attend this informative event. Let's come together as neighbors and support each other in our community.
