Musical Event Hosted by Ingolstadt Nightclubs During the Summer Season
The Ingolstadt Nightingales, a renowned choir known for their captivating performances, have announced their next public event. On July 26, starting from 4:30 PM, the choir will be performing at St. Augustin parish, promising a musical summer afternoon suitable for all ages.
The programme for this event is set to be colourful and varied, offering something for everyone. The little nightingales, primary school-aged children, will kick off the performance with a repertoire of humorous songs ranging from the "Schlawuzi" era to modern favourites like the "Gummibär" song and the "Hedgehog" song.
Following the performance of the little nightingales, the concert choir will take centre stage, presenting an international repertoire. This year, the choir has chosen to perform Bavarian songs, donning traditional attire to celebrate their regional roots.
The event will begin with a performance by the Peeps, a choir of 4 to 6-year-olds, who will welcome guests with singing, movement, and clapping. One of the highlights of the evening will be a quodlibet, during which the audience is invited to sing along to the concert's final song.
Certificates for first appearances and long-term singing will be awarded to the Ingolstadt Nightingales for the first time, recognizing the dedication and hard work of the choir members. The concert will also feature a unique performance, with the singers donning socks on their hands to bring an extra touch of whimsy to one of the earworm songs.
For those interested in joining the Ingolstadt Nightingales, a trial session is scheduled for children and young people aged 4 to 16 on September 22. For further information about the choir, upcoming performances, and the trial session, visit www.nachtigallen-in.de.
The Ingolstadt Nightingales' last public performance was a summer concert at the Bauerngeräte Museum on July 6, 2025. Since then, the choir has been busy rehearsing and preparing for this upcoming event at St. Augustin parish.
We look forward to seeing you there for an unforgettable musical evening with the Ingolstadt Nightingales!
After the musical evening with the Ingolstadt Nightingales, attendees can enjoy an alternative experience by exploring the harmonious blend of 'lifestyle' and 'outdoor-living' at the home-and-garden exhibition, taking place the following week on August 2nd. The event will offer various workshops, stalls, and demonstrations, promoting sustainable gardening practices and home decor inspired by traditional Bavarian culture.
