Vacheron Constantin Celebrates 270th Anniversary with Stunning Releases

In a grand celebration of its 270th anniversary, luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin unveiled two remarkable timepieces at Watches and Wonders 2025 – the Vacheron Constantin Solaria Ultra Grande Complication and the Vacheron Constantin Métiers d'Art Tribute to the Quest of Time.

The Vacheron Constantin Solaria Ultra Grande Complication, a testament to the brand's craftsmanship and innovation, boasts an impressive 41 complications. This intricate piece took eight years to develop and led to the filing of 13 patent applications. The Calibre 3670 movement, powering this masterpiece, is described as a 'feat of miniaturisation and innovation'.

On the other hand, the Vacheron Constantin Métiers d'Art Tribute to the Quest of Time is a limited edition watch, cased in white gold and featuring a dark blue alligator leather strap. The front dial showcases a human figure with a double-retrograde display for hours and minutes, while the back dial features a sky chart displaying the sidereal day and constellations with 9,130 years of accuracy. The watch is limited to 20 pieces.

Vacheron Constantin, the oldest continually operating watch brand in the world, also revealed La Quête du Temps, an astronomical clock with 23 complications and 6,293 components. This grand clock, which took seven years to develop, will be showcased at the Louvre in Paris as the centrepiece of the Mécenatiques d'Art exhibition.

The human figure on the front dial of the Vacheron Constantin Métiers d'Art Tribute to the Quest of Time represents the time and can be viewed continuously or on-demand. The watch is powered by a new manually wound movement, the Calibre 3670, which has a 5Hz beat rate and a power reserve of 144 hours.

Earlier in the year, Vacheron Constantin also unveiled the Vacheron Constantin 222, adding another milestone to its rich history. As the brand continues to push the boundaries of watchmaking, it remains committed to preserving its legacy while embracing the future.

In honour of its anniversary, Vacheron Constantin has also launched a limited edition watch, the Vacheron Constantin Métiers d'Art Tribute to the Quest of Time, designed as a companion piece to the astronomical clock La Quête du Temps. With these new releases, Vacheron Constantin reaffirms its position as a leader in the world of haute horlogerie.
