Clearmont Historic Group Hosts Successful Fifth Annual Ice Cream Social and Silent Auction
Last Sunday, the Clearmont Historic Group held its fifth annual ice cream social and silent auction at Branding Iron Park, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, a popular gathering in the community, attracted around 40 people.
Among the attendees were Carrie Edinger, Director of Museum of the Bighorns, and her husband, Tom Nutter, a photographer. The ice cream social was initiated by Ira Roadifer and has proven to be a successful fundraiser for the Clearmont Historical Group.
During the event, attendees enjoyed ice cream sundaes while chatting with friends and neighbours. The silent auction, a key part of the day, offered various items for bidding.
Robert Prusak, President of the Clearmont Historical Group, provided information about the event. He also posed with his wife and grandchildren in front of the old Clearmont jail.
