Kultur-Küchen: Arabic Cuisine & Ukrainian Performances Spark Intercultural Celebration

A vibrant cultural event, Kultur-Küchen, took place at Jugendhilfe SPEKTRUM last Monday. It brought together Arabic cuisine and performances by Ukrainian artists Liudmyla Davidulina, Klementyna Pohorielova, and dancer Lika Kavarova. The event was part of this year's intercultural week and attracted a diverse crowd.

The event was a collaboration between the local team (Open and Mobile Youth Work), volunteers, and the Integration department team from the Office for Youth, Education, Integration, and Sport (JuBIS). They worked alongside the 'Experiment e.V.' association to make it a success.

The Kultur-Küchen event was held at Café SPEKTRUM in Schwenningen. It drew in children, teenagers, and adults from various nations, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere. The organisers hope to repeat this success next year, with SPEKTRUM planning to participate again with JuBIS.

The Kultur-Küchen event was a celebration of diversity, combining Arabic food and Ukrainian performances. It was a joint effort by local teams, volunteers, integration departments, and associations. The event's success has paved the way for future intercultural collaborations.
