Jumble Sale in Wesel-Feldmark: A vast array of items suitable for children
The city of Wesel, Germany, is inviting children and young people aged 6 to 16 to participate in the upcoming Kindertrödelmarkt on the Marktplatz Feldmark. This exciting event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This garage sale-style event offers a unique opportunity for children to sell their outgrown toys, too-small jeans, and read books, while possibly finding interesting items at other stands. Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets, umbrellas, and tables, as well as a lunch and unsweetened drinks.
The Stadtverwaltung Wesel - Team Kinder- und Jugendförderung is organizing the Kindertrödelmarkt as part of Wesel's holiday action program. Registration is not required, and participation is free. However, a €5 deposit will be collected at the start of the event to cover waste disposal. This deposit will be refunded after participants dismantle their stands and clean their areas.
The Kindertrödelmarkt is a great way for children to learn about responsibility, financial management, and the value of their belongings. It's also an enjoyable activity that encourages community engagement and interaction.
