International Music Concert Series at Park University's Center for Music Unveils Plans for 2025-26 Season

The 2025-26 Concert Season at the International Center for Music (ICM) at Park University is set to entertain music lovers with a diverse lineup of 11 concerts, running from September 2025 to May 2026.

The season will kick off on September 5, 2025, with a captivating performance by violist Molly Carr and pianist Anna Petrova at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kansas. As the season progresses, audiences can look forward to a series of solo recitals, chamber music, and orchestra performances.

Highlights of the season include the participation of world-renowned artists such as Behzod Abduraimov, who will serve as the artist-in-residence, and violinist Shmuel Ashkenasi. The faculty/staff husband-and-wife duo, violinist Ben Sayevich and pianist Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich, will also grace the stage.

The concerts will feature performances by Park ICM piano and strings students, as well as the ICM Orchestra and ICM Chamber Orchestra in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on Park University’s campus in Parkville.

A special event not to be missed is the 7th annual Stanislav and Friends gala, scheduled for March 21, 2026, at Helzberg Hall in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Kansas City. Park ICM founder and artistic director, pianist Stanislav Ioudenitch, will perform as a special guest.

The season will conclude on May 1, 2026, with pianist Behzod Abduraimov at the 1900 Building, marking the last concert of the season.
