Innovations Galore in Transport Logistics 2025: Kässbohrer Unveils Multiple New Developments
Kässbohrer, a leading name in the transportation industry, is exhibiting at the Transport Logistics 2025 event in Munich from June 2nd to 5th. The company is showcasing a variety of innovative solutions designed to improve efficiency, sustainability, and versatility in the transport sector.
One of the highlights of Kässbohrer's display is the lightest 20-foot tank container chassis in Europe, which is made from S-700-MC steel, KTL-coated, and has a tare weight of 3,250 kg. This chassis, which can transport containers from 20 to 45 feet HC and a 13,600-mm cargo box, can be found at the open area A5-6 (booth 7-9).
Another significant development on display is the K.SRI E, a next-generation electrified refrigerated trailer. Equipped with BPW axles and Thermo King refrigeration systems, the K.SRI E is more than 50% more efficient than other electrified refrigerated vehicles, ensuring fuel savings of up to 4,000 liters per year and reducing CO emissions by up to 10 tons.
The K.SRI E is not related to the e-Curtainsider, another innovative product from Kässbohrer. The e-Curtainsider, presented to stakeholders in September 2024 and currently in the testing phase, is being developed as part of the EU-funded ZEFES project. Details about the e-Curtainsider's specific fuel savings or CO emission reductions are not yet available, as it is still in the testing phase.
Kässbohrer is also showcasing the Octagon-on-container chassis, a multifunctional solution designed to provide suitable traction and weight distribution even when transporting 20-foot containers at the rear.
In addition to these products, Kässbohrer is also focusing on sustainability. At IAA 2024, the company showcased plans to display electrified vehicles, emphasising their commitment to sustainable solutions. The second K-Expert presentation, "Towards Zero Emissions: Electrification Update Panel," will take place at the Kässbohrer stand on June 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Visitors to the Transport Logistics 2025 can find the e-Curtainsider presentation at Hall A6, Stand 323/424. Kässbohrer invites everyone to come and learn more about these innovative solutions and their strides towards a more sustainable future in the transportation industry.
