Hürth-Hermülheim's 'Lux Avenue' Preview: Sample Area Opens Late February

Hürth-Hermülheim's upcoming 'Lux Avenue' is set to transform the cityscape, with architectural group HHS Planer + Architekten AG leading the project. A sample area, open to the public, will preview the design and materials from late February.

The sample area, located at Bödikerstraße behind Bonnstraße 183, will showcase original materials in a reduced scale. This includes gray granite curbs, beige and gray-toned paving stones, and concrete seating elements. The area will demonstrate both the planned cycle street and pedestrian areas, allowing residents to experience the future design.

The sample area will serve as a crucial coordination hub for materials, laying technique, and color scheme. It will be open to the public, enabling residents to provide feedback and contribute to the final design.

The sample area, set up from late February, will provide a tangible preview of 'Lux Avenue'. It will help coordinate materials and design elements, ensuring the final street meets the city's vision and residents' expectations.
