Gathering scheduled for 29th June at Lanker Eco-Market

The Lank-Latum Business Community, under the leadership of Chairpersons Markus Kitz and Simona Libner, will once again oversee the annual traditional market on Sunday, June 29th. This dedicated team, which includes Karl-Heinz Thelen, Jürgen Simons from Heimatkreis Lank, and Gabi Pricken from the Meebusch-Fouesnant Partnership Committee, is committed to ensuring the event's continued success as a popular attraction.

Key aspects of this year's market will maintain a focus on sustainability, environmental, and climate protection, with offerings ranging from locally sourced honey to handmade children's clothing, natural brushes, and beer from Meerbusch. Various local organizations, including the city works, green spaces department, NABU, VdK, and the Mullewapp kindergarten's little scientists, will be present with information stands in the Lank pedestrian zone from 12 to 6 PM. Shops in the town center will open from 1 PM.

In a nod to sustainability, the book market and children's flea market will take place as usual on Mühlenstraße, Fronhofstraße, and the Old Market Square. Police will be stationed for bicycle coding, and food and drink will be available throughout the day.
