Finalization of Cleanliness Awareness Campaign observed in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the main city on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East, is gearing up for its final spring clean-up event of the year. This event, taking place on May 30th, marks the eighth and final event in a series of public clean-ups that have been ongoing since mid-April.

Local clean-up events typically take place in public areas such as city parks, popular landmarks, beaches, or near natural attractions. However, due to a lack of specific information, it is advisable to check local municipal websites, social media pages of the city administration, or community groups closer to the event date for details about participation locations.

The clean-up will involve city labor collectives and representatives of public organizations, and will extend to both public and residential territories. Participants will be provided with necessary equipment on-site, and anyone interested can participate at any convenient location.

Some confirmed locations for the clean-up include the park on Tsyolkovsky Prospect, 30, the coastal strip in the Seroglazka microdistrict, residential territories at Sovietskaya Street 24, 26, 28, Rybachy Prospect, 11, Tsyolkovsky Prospect, 33, and near houses 47/1, 47/2, and 47/3 on Vladivostok Street.

Additionally, the KP area from the intersection of Leningradskaya and Naberezhnaya Streets (near the former "Luksor" store) to the intersection of Naberezhnaya and Maksutova Streets will also be cleaned. The clean-up will begin at 11 am, as previously stated, and will continue on the left side of the UVD bus stop to the "Poseidon" shopping center.

Those wishing to participate independently can obtain equipment from the city's maintenance service at 29 Vladivistok Street. Contact numbers for the clean-up are 8 (4152) 46-81-10 and 46-03-93.

So far, over 130 tons of various waste have been collected and removed from the city during the clean-ups organized by the city administration since mid-April. The final spring clean-up event of the month-long campaign promises to be a significant contribution to the cleanliness and beauty of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The clean-up will not only focus on public areas, but also encompass home-and-garden environments within residential territories, such as locations at Sovietskaya Street 24, 26, 28, Rybachy Prospect, 11, Tsyolkovsky Prospect, 33, and near houses 47/1, 47/2, and 47/3 on Vladivostok Street. Moreover, individuals who wish to independently participate and assist with the clean-up can obtain equipment from the city's maintenance service on Vladivistok Street.
