Festival Open House Returns for its 16th Installment!
The 16th Open House International Festival of Contemporary Dance and Performance is set to take place in Limassol, Cyprus from October 2 to 5, 2025. This four-day event, organised by Dance House Lemesos, will feature a diverse lineup of performances, happenings, walking-based actions, music, parallel events, and new collaborations.
One of the highlights of the festival is the performative writing program "Dear Festival & Friends". This program invites participation from artists, students, writers, researchers, journalists, audience members, and anyone interested in performative writing and critical dialogue around the performing arts. No previous writing experience is required to participate.
"Dear Festival & Friends" is curated and guided by Rodia Vomvolou and Betina Panagiotara. The program aims to activate critical thinking and creative writing through the experience of the festival's performances. The focus of the festival is on the body, its landscapes, and stories, as tools for art, resistance, and connection.

The 16th Open House Festival is funded by KYPRIA, the funding programme for Arts festivals, and supported by Rialto Theatre, Lemesos2030, Limassol Municipality, and Avant Garde as the media sponsor. The festival also enjoys the support of the Deputy Ministry of Culture - Department of Contemporary Culture and the Cyprus Youth Clubs Organisation as the Youth Ambassador.
