Last moment on the Namibian farm - Farm Residents' Final Day in Namibia

After years of tending to their farm in Namibia, a place where they have shared laughter, tears, struggles, and dreams, Anna Heiser (35) and Gerald Heiser (40) have decided to embark on a new chapter in Poland, near a harbor and close to Anna's family.

Their decision to sell the farm, a significant part of their lives, was not made lightly. As Gerald Heiser shared in an RTL interview, it was a choice that kept them awake at night, cost tears, and weighed heavily on their hearts. The farm, which has been in the family since 1978, is no longer economically viable, and they are moving to seek new opportunities.

The move has been emotionally challenging, particularly for Anna, who publicly revealed marital problems in late 2024 on Instagram. However, therapy helped them overcome their issues, as Anna announced in May. Gerald, on the other hand, expressed feelings of burnout in January and could see himself working on an oil rig in Poland.

Their wedding was celebrated in Anna's homeland, Poland, and again in Namibia. They have been married since 2018 and are proud parents to two children, Leon, born in January 2021, and Alina, born in late November 2022.

In February, they announced their decision to sell the farm, and in the following months, they shared their last days on the farm with their Instagram followers. Gerald was seen watching the sunrise, a poignant moment capturing the bittersweet feelings of their departure.

Anna and Gerald met on the RTL dating show "Farmer Wants a Wife International" in 2017. Now, they are looking forward to a new beginning in Poland, embracing the anticipation and hope that lies ahead.

Moving to Poland has led Gerald Heiser to ponder about a possible job change, as he considers working on an oil rig to find balance in his lifestyle amidst the stresses of family-dynamics and relationships. The Commission has also been consulted on the draft directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens, perhaps, addressing Gerald's concerns about occupational safety in his new line of work.
