The "Nizhny Novgorod. Details. Photo" exhibition, a unique perspective on the historic city of Nizhny Novgorod, is open to the public until September 7. Located on two floors of the "Record" cultural center, the exhibition features around 80 works from private collections.

Curated by Ksenia Fedoseeva-Tsaritsynskaya and Maria Bogdanova, the founders of the "Luna" art gallery, the exhibition presents a diverse photographic portrait of Nizhny Novgorod. From enveloping silence to vibrant colors, clarity of graphic forms, smooth lines, grand panoramas, and small details, each photograph offers a small story told without words.

The exhibition is a testament to the growth and development of the "Nizhny Novgorod. Details" project, which began in the city's 800th anniversary year. It is the fifth exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod as part of this project.

The works on display are by a diverse group of photographers, including Yevgeny Kanayev, Alyak Yakubovich, Valery Samarin, Nikita Dukhnik, Oleg Arnautov, Anatoly Biryukov, Ilya Bolshakov, Mark Grigoryev, Sophia Emeľyanova, Anna Keverel, Svetlana Koloshina, Daniil Maksyukov, Polina Paranina, Natalia Rachkova, Andrei Repin, Mikhail Stenin, Polina Funina, Yulia Shushina, Anushka Spuskova, Konstantin Belousov, Olga Nilova, Olga Neon, and the "Nizhny Novgorod Collage Community".

Maria Bogdanova explained that artistic photography sets itself apart from everyday photography due to the unique artistic vision of the photographer. Ksenia Fedoseeva-Tsaritsynskaya noted that the exhibition is a unique manifesto calling for a dialogue with the city.

Mikhail Pelchenkov, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod region, stated that the project continues to delight with new discoveries. He added that the "Nizhny Novgorod. Details. Photo" exhibition serves as a new source of inspiration for those who have lived in Nizhny Novgorod for many years, offering a new, unexpected angle to view the city.

Admission to the exhibition is free, making it an accessible opportunity for everyone to immerse themselves in the photographic story of Nizhny Novgorod. The exhibition was symbolically opened on World Photography Day, on August 19, 2025. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore Nizhny Novgorod through the lens of some of Russia's most talented photographers.
