Australia Prepares for "Do It For Dolly Day" Against Bullying
On May 9, Australia will commemorate "Do It For Dolly Day," a national event designed to combat bullying. The day honors Dolly Everett, a 14-year-old girl who tragically passed away after enduring prolonged bullying and cyberbullying in 2018.
In her memory, Dolly's parents, Tick and Nate, established Dolly's Dream, a foundation with the goal of preventing bullying and supporting those affected. The event aims to raise awareness about bullying, promote meaningful conversations, and celebrate kindness. Participants will be encouraged to wear blue — Dolly's favorite color — to show solidarity in the fight against bullying and remember Dolly's life.
For those who wish to join the movement, here are blue items to help you get involved:
- A stylish sun hat with a vibrant blue hue.
- An adorable soft blue axolotl for comfort.
- A cozy hoodie in a calming sky blue.
- A sizable blue cup to keep drinks well-insulated.
- A rain cloud diffuser to bring light into rooms and aid sleep quality.
- A wearable blanket for chilly friends.
- A fun shark costume to bring laughter.
- A blue Bluetooth speaker to dance away the worries.
- A fragrant tea with blue cornflower petals to promote calmness.
- An instant print thermal camera to capture cherished moments.
- A candle adorned with Aquamarine crystals to promote mental wellness and confidence.

Do not hesitate to show your support for "Do It For Dolly Day" by wearing blue on May 9 and spreading Dolly's message of choosing kindness and fostering open discussions.
