Australia Prepares for "Do It For Dolly Day" Against Bullying

On May 9, Australia will commemorate "Do It For Dolly Day," a national event designed to combat bullying. The day honors Dolly Everett, a 14-year-old girl who tragically passed away after enduring prolonged bullying and cyberbullying in 2018.

In her memory, Dolly's parents, Tick and Nate, established Dolly's Dream, a foundation with the goal of preventing bullying and supporting those affected. The event aims to raise awareness about bullying, promote meaningful conversations, and celebrate kindness. Participants will be encouraged to wear blue — Dolly's favorite color — to show solidarity in the fight against bullying and remember Dolly's life.
