Event for Disabled Children and Young Adults with Severe Impairments

Kickstart the Fun at "Krahnendonk in Motion"

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind festivus! The School Sports Committee is inviting children and youngsters with disabilities to a whopping four-day celebration of experiences, games, and motor mayhem - and over 800 students from around 15 different institutions in Mönchengladbach, Krefeld, Viersen, Heinsberg, and Rhein-Kreis Neuss are hopping on board, baby!

But what sets this event apart is the tender love and care lavished on the preparation, along with a smorgasbord of movement activities crafted for each child's unique abilities. From bouncing on trampolines and swaying on swings to hopping on a bouncy castle and an imagination-stirring Snoezelen room, a safe yet playful playground was constructed where every participant could move and laugh with abandon.

The event shimmered with two sensational school performances on stage. The Chilly's, a dance group from the Mosaik School in Grevenbroich, and a choir from the School am Nordpark in Neuss wowed the audience.

Once again, schools in Mönchengladbach lent a hand - The comprehensive school Hardt and the Catholic Marienschule set up the school medical service, while the Stiftsgymnasium Humanistischen Gymnasium offered a helping hand.

If you're seeking more information about this event, you might need to touch base with local event organizers or consult community events calendars particularly tailored to Mönchengladbach or nearby areas. Hungry for more events that cater to children with disabilities? Look no further than organizations or communities specializing in inclusive activities for children with disabilities. They often develop bespoke programs and events that are engaging and accessible to all attendees.

And for news about events in Mönchengladbach in general, the city's service portal or event calendars could be your new best friends!

At the end of the day, one could find an equally engaging event for those who prefer a different pace of life – a home and garden fair might be just the ticket. Other outdoor-lifestyle enthusiasts might enjoy an exhibition showcasing innovative gardening tools, unique home decor, and eco-friendly living solutions.
