What You ShouldKeep in Mind
During the flushing, there might be pressure reductions in the pipe network, which means immediate water heaters, washing machines, and dishwashers linked to the water line should be operated under continuous monitoring. Once no more water flows from the faucets, appliances should be shut off immediately. Also, filters, water treatment systems, and similar devices should be checked. The water supply might resume or halt unexpectedly, according to city works.
A brief interruption in the drinking water supply is expected but poses no health risk. After the flushing, some water should be run, which is essential before turning on the through-flow heaters, etc., and then clean water will flow again.
The city works of Dinslaken appreciate your understanding and strive to keep any inconvenience to a minimum. If you have questions about the work, contact the customer service of the city works of Dinslaken at Tel. 02064-605-260. Residents received written notifications as well.
