Confidential insight from pharmacy:

In the world of skincare, finding the perfect product can be a journey. One such product that has caught my attention recently is the shower peeling, a unique addition to any skincare routine. I've been intensively dealing with skincare for years and have recently tested a shower peeling, specifically the ISANA and Dove offerings.

During my exploration, I discovered a much-praised cream shower peeling from Dove, and a visually similar product of the Rossmann own brand ISANA was found next to it. Both peelings, advertised with "pomegranate and shea butter," left my skin feeling soft and clean without a disturbing film after showering.

The ISANA peeling, manufactured by Rossmann, showed a slimmer allergen profile compared to the Dove peeling. The Dove peeling, a one-time purchase for me, includes zinc oxide for skin protection and moisturizing jojoba esters. On the other hand, the ISANA peeling relies on mild ingredients, including a gentle coconut-based surfactant and silica as peeling particles.

The ISANA product was the winner of my self-test and has been my go-to peeling since. It had a more even peeling effect compared to the Dove product, and I found its price-performance ratio to be better. A thin layer of body lotion allows quick dressing after using both peelings.

Product tests and experiences are valuable for choosing products that improve skin health. In Berlin, where the range of beauty products in drugstores is overwhelming, it's essential to make informed decisions. The ISANA peeling costs less than the Dove peeling, making it a more budget-friendly option.

However, the application process was slightly different. The Dove product required more rubbing and was more effort to apply. Despite this, both the ISANA Peeling and Dove Peeling performed well in my self-test.

In conclusion, while both peelings offer benefits, the ISANA peeling stood out for me due to its milder ingredients, more even peeling effect, and better price-performance ratio. As always, it's important to consider individual skin sensitivities and preferences when choosing a skincare product.
