Bambados Reopens with Discounted Rates and New Offers
After a brief closure, the Family and Sports Bath Bambados in Bamberg has reopened its doors on September 18, 2025. The popular bathing facility is offering various discounts and new services to attract visitors.
Firstly, families can enjoy a discount with the credit at Bambados. Additionally, those who load credit onto their customer account at Bambados can receive up to 25% discount on the admission price for the swimming pool and sauna. Discounted tickets are also available for students, apprentices, disabled persons, holders of the SozCard, volunteers with the Bavarian Volunteer Card, and seniors aged 60 and above.
The indoor swimming pool at Bambados is open from 6:30 am on weekdays and from 7 am on weekends, holidays, and public holidays. The sauna area, which has undergone a technical check, is operational daily from 10 am, and the entire Bambados is open until 10 pm. The pool closes at 9:30 pm.
The sauna at Bambados stays open until midnight on the monthly 'News Night'. The first News Night is scheduled for next Saturday, September 20, 2025. During these nights, textile-free FKK bathing is possible after 10 pm, and an extended sauna session until midnight is planned.
Moreover, the new season at Bambados introduces sound bowl ceremonies and aroma salt peels as new offers for sauna guests. According to Matthias Puzik, the combination of sauna heat, sound bowls, and scents promotes relaxation.
Michael Fiedeldey, CEO of the city's utility company, stated that the discounted tickets are intended to make a visit to Bambados affordable for those with lower incomes. Guests are asked to present their ID for discounted entry at the cash desk by mid-October at Bambados. Queues at the cash desk are expected to be avoided by presenting ID for discounted entry.
Children are allowed in the sauna area from 10 am to 6 pm on Family News days, which are available on the first Saturday of every month, starting on October 4.
