Judith Rakers Seaside Farming Adventure on Rügen
Coastal farm established on Rügen island. - Coastal Farm Emerges on the Island of Rügen Near the Shore
Hey there! Let's chat about our favorite TV presenter, Judith Rakers (49). She's all about that sea-breeze vibe with her menagerie of animals on the enchanting island of Rügen. This Baltic gem has been Judith's beloved getaway for a decade, as she spills to magazine "Gala". She initially fell in love with the place in 2010 and has been jetting off for a vacation at least twice a year since then.
Judith has made a wonderful group of pals on Rügen, and the island now feels like a cosy second home to her. And guess what? She's now building a brand-new farmstead on the island! She excitedly shared with "Gala" that the farm is merely a stone's throw from the beach - just a ten-minute saunter! Even her furry buddies, two cats, two horses, and ten hens are tagging along for this big move. "Can't imagine living anywhere without them," she says. Though saying goodbye to her Hamburg home isn't easy, Judith admits: "Change ain't always simple, but it's the only way to progress. I've always been the type who embraces new chapters."
Judith Rakers Announces Her Big Move in April
Our nature-loving lady has given her fans a sneak peek of her new digs on Instagram. In early April, Judith dropped the bombshell about her relocation plans. She also shared on Instagram that things were moving quickly on her plot of land on the island. It seems like her new abode has already sprouted two glass greenhouses and a few raised beds, adorning a wooden house. Previously, the presenter had given a glimpse into her spacious new kitchen amidst construction vehicles treading through her garden.
Judith regularly dishes about her "home-farming" adventures on social media, previously hailing from the north of Hamburg. She also runs a website stocked with gardening tools and a newsletter and has penned several books on self-sufficiency, cooking, and farming. So, stay tuned for more updates on Judy's life on Rügen!

I'm not going to be able to make it to my Hamburg home anymore, as I'm currently in the midst of a significant lifestyle change. My new home is under construction on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen, where I've fallen in love with gardening and home-and-garden projects throughout my stay.
