Sibylle Bertsch, a trained actress with a versatile career spanning classical roles, comedies, and musicals, and Cosmin Boeru, a renowned pianist and professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, have created a new adaptation of Thomas Mann's Nobel Prize-winning work 'Buddenbrooks.' The concert will feature music that played a significant role in the novel, intertwined with excerpts from the book that illustrate the meaning and impact of music.
In 'Buddenbrooks,' music influences the family's dynamics, causing heated discussions, enthusiasm, and destruction.
