The citizens' association Heckinghauser is inviting all residents to a special event on Wednesday, 13th August 2025, at 5 pm. The gathering will take place in the car park in front of the mural at Lenneper Straße 28, and it's all about the second Heckinghauser mural that has been on display since early July 2025.

Gerhard Dabringhausen, the chairman of Heckinghauser, is extending the invitation. At the meeting, Valentina Manojlov, the director of the street art project "Urban Art Space Wuppertal", will be present to explain the meaning and significance of the murals.

The first Heckinghauser mural, called "King of Nothing", was created at House Bockmühle 9 by the Polish artist "Bezt". The third Heckinghauser mural, created for the Pina Bausch Gallery series, was the work of "Caratoes" from Hong Kong, who is known for the Pina Bausch piece "The Window Cleaner".

Valentina Manojlov will share more insights about Caratoes and their work, as well as the broader context of the Pina Bausch Gallery series. However, it's worth noting that detailed public information about Caratoes is limited, and for more in-depth information, one might need to refer to exhibition catalogs, the Pina Bausch Gallery’s official publications, or contact the gallery directly.

Admission to the meeting is free, and it promises to be an exciting opportunity for the community to learn more about the latest addition to Heckinghauser's vibrant street art scene. So, mark your calendars and join us on Wednesday for an enlightening discussion about art, community, and the second Heckinghauser mural at Lenneper Straße 28.
