The 3rd Waldsymposium is set to return to the picturesque Waldhaus im Park Altenstein in Bad Liebenstein from 4th to 9th August 2025. This unique event, themed "In der Stille wachsen – mit dem Wald leben" (Growing in Silence – Living with the Forest), promises a captivating blend of art, education, and music, all centred around the forest environment.
Throughout the week, visitors can expect a variety of activities tailored for different age groups. Children's Activities will provide engaging experiences to immerse younger attendees in nature and forest-related themes. The Artist Presentations will offer an opportunity to witness regional wood artists and sculptors showcasing and discussing their work, reflecting connections with forest nature.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to the Steinbacher Rock-& Blues Band Kurz&Lang's live performance at Café Altenstein. The band's performance, which takes place from 8 PM onwards, is a new addition to the 3rd Waldsymposium schedule, along with a raffle draw at the tombola.
On the closing evening, 9th August, artists will present their works before they are auctioned off, offering a unique chance to take home a piece of the Waldsymposium magic.
