Bremen's Winterwald Ansgari: a charming gathering spot nestled right in the city center
Prepare for a festive season like no other as Bremen's city centre welcomes back the much-loved Winter Forest! Last year, the Winter Forest exceeded all expectations, enhancing the stay quality not only of the Ansgari Churchyard but also of the entire city centre.
This year, the Winter Forest will once again grace the Ansgari Quarter from November 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Visitors can look forward to seven weeks of enchantment, as the Winter Forest will be open from Sundays to Thursdays, 11:00 to 20:30, and Fridays and Saturdays until 21:30.
The Winter Forest promises a cultural and musical programme on Saturdays, along with illuminated Christmas trees, decorated wooden huts, and 3D glowing animals. But the real draw is the array of delicious food and drink on offer. Indulge in hot drinks, mulled wine, grill specialties, Belgian fries, fondue, crepes, and galettes at the Winter Forest.
