Border Hike Set for October 3rd: Explore Local Borders
A border hike is set for Friday, October 3rd, organized by several local authorities. The event will take participants through various borders in the region, starting from Hohe Wart.
The hike, which will take place regardless of the weather, will cover the Pfaffenberg, Sodener, Oberbessenbacher, and Hessenthaler borders. It will pass by six border markers. Participants are advised to wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM.
Buses will depart towards Hohe Wart from 7:30 AM. The final rest will take place in the Sportheim Volkersbrunn. The meeting point is at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast.
The border hike, organized by Aschaffenburg, Feldgeschworenenvereinigung Aschaffenburg Stadt und Land, Markt Sulzbach, and the Municipality of Bessenbach, will take place on October 3rd. Participants should be prepared for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Buses will be available for the return trip.
