Autumn Fair by the Rhine Offers Thrills, Food, and Superheroes

The Autumn Fair by the Rhine is underway, offering a mix of thrilling rides, culinary delights, and superhero encounters. The fair began on October 24 and will continue until October 31, with a special Halloween treat for those in costume.

New attractions this year include the Air Power, a XXL swing ride that accommodates 16 guests, and the Action House, a running attraction with various challenges. The fair is open from 3 PM on weekdays and 1 PM on weekends, staying open until at least 10 PM.

Visitors can enjoy beer from Schumacher and Schlüssel breweries, priced at €3.50 per 0.25 L glass, and potentially mulled wine, weather permitting. On Tuesday, October 29, from 4 to 7 PM, Marvel heroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Ladypool will be available for photos and autographs.

A fireworks display is set for Friday, October 25, around 9:30 PM. On Halloween night, those in well-done costumes can enjoy free rides. Despite some weather-related cancellations, Oliver Wilmering, head of the Düsseldorf showmen, is satisfied with the fair season.

The Autumn Fair by the Rhine will close on November 1 due to a public holiday, with around 30 showmen participating in the fair. Following its closure, the fish market will take place on November 3.
