80 Young Firefighters Gather for Fun and Learning at Kleinweiler-Hofen Event

The fourth annual Children's Fire Department Day in Kleinweiler-Hofen brought together 80 young firefighters from six different departments. The event, led by Pascal Grommisch, focused on fun and team spirit, and introduced a new music song for the Oberallgäu children's fire departments.

Max Weber, a member of the Oberallgäu Children's Fire Brigade, proposed the idea for the new song. The day was filled with 16 engaging game stations, including a rescue exercise using a 'spineboard' on a large bouncy castle. Children also enjoyed target throwing, equipment guessing games, and a challenging hot wire alarm activity. They even worked together to extinguish a small house using fire hoses, demonstrating their teamwork and skills.

Mayor Florian Schmid commended the children's enthusiasm and the importance of volunteer firefighters. The event not only provided a fun day for the children but also helped them learn essential firefighting skills and the value of teamwork.
